At artisan one of our strengths is the ability to show you what your bathroom will look like before its done, with the exact products you have chosen. We understand shopping for a bathroom isn’t easy. So much choice so many different prices & thousands of design options to choose from.

In a design appointment we take that headache away for you so you can enjoy the process.

In a design appointment this is your chance to ask us anything you want, and our opportunity to show you with visual inspiration so when you leave you have a full understanding of what your doing & what it will look like.

Working Together.

Step1

Step 1: Site visit

Once you have sent an enquiry & decided you would like to renovate your bathroom step1 would be a site visit. During this stage we would measure your bathroom and use this as a time to get some information off you with what you would like. This information is then used in step2.

Step 2: Design Appointment

This appointment is always done in our showroom with either Sam or Alex , your measurements will be uploaded to our design software and we can start designing your bathroom. we use the information you have given us to determine the best layout for the bathroom to meet your requirements. Once the layout of your bathroom is complete we then choose colour schemes using inspiration from yourself or one of our displays & samples. The most exciting part of this process is being able to see your completed bathroom in front of you on the screen.

Step 3: Pricing

When your happy with the design we move over to a short price presentation. During this we will tell you the price & next steps if you wanted to use artisan for your bathroom project. one of our strengths is the ability to LISTEN to your needs & requirements so we always try and tailor your design to meet your budget. This is a great opportunity for you ask any questions.

Step 4: Booking

If you decide we are the company for you we usually take a 50% deposit of material costs to book in & receive a start date. The design process is now complete and now you can look forward to your new bathroom. you will also receive a job pack off artisan with your designs & order details so you can show family & friends.

Meet our Designers

Sam

After spending 10 years in bathroom distribution & manufacturing Sam decided it was time to go down his own path in owning a bathroom showroom. After visiting hundreds of showrooms over the years he took the plunge and wanted to create something special from the experience he had gained from traveling the UK and visiting various manufacturers overseas. It was always a goal of his to follow his passion for business & design and go down his own path.

There is no better feeling than seeing someone’s face when we present a bathroom design that blows them away. I understand first hand that saving money for a big project & wanting it to be perfect can be stressful & sometimes overwhelming. My favourite part of doing what I do is taking that load off a client and just allowing them to enjoy the process. I also believe that it should be fun. So if we are lucky enough to meet in the future i hope I make your experience a good one.

Alex - Director

Alex has been fitting bathrooms since he left school. Starting off with an apprenticeship at the age of 16 this has been his craft from the start. After serving his time & becoming fully qualified Alex & Jack set up smith & craig. Over the last 20 years Alex has worked on everything the bathroom industry has to offer, from standard bathrooms to installing the most prestigious bathrooms in the North West. He also has years of experience working on commercial plumbing projects with numerous hotels & restaurants. Alex has always had an entrepreneurial instinct & Artisan is a reflection of that.

My favourite part of designing is that no design’s the same, some days it can be easy but some designs can be challenging for a number of reasons, its breaking through them challenges & coming up with something that blows our clients away. Seeing this through to the finished project is when its all worth it. Attention to detail is at the forefront of my mind in every design appointment so that our customers get exactly what they want

Jack - Director

Jack started his plumbing apprenticeship straight from school , when he was fully qualified he formed smith & craig with Alex. Together they have worked wonders on bathrooms all over the north west. Jacks eye for detail is second to none and he never cuts corners. Starting artisan was a great next step to showcase his expertise in the industry, the showroom is a great reflection of his craftmanship & he sets high standards on bathroom installations.

When i am not in the showroom i am on site installing & managing our current projects, there is nothing better than seeing a design come to life & seeing how happy our customers are when the job is complete. many people think a bathroom is easy enough to install but when we start they realise what work actually goes into it. my favourite part of installing a bathroom is second fixing after tiling. This is where we see the products and the bathroom comes to life. attention to detail is at the forefront of my mind in every project we do to get the perfect finish. if your looking at starting a new bathroom project & choose artisan to be the company you go with be sure to know our installation teams will always provide an excellent service & standards throughout the job.
